Third people's movement to uphold 'civilian supremacy': Dahal

"The party would launch third people's movement by joining forces with nationalist forces," he said at a party ceremony organised in Daman, Makwanpur district, adding that a revolution is necessary to uphold civilian supremacy to counter the growing military dominance in the country.

The former prime minister dubbed the UML-led government a "puppet" installed by "foreign masters" and said it is worthless to expect anything from it.

He also said the people's movement the party would launch will bring to an end "the opportunists, anti-nationalist, and reactionary forces".
