Indian Terror in Nepal continues: Maoists Deplore, others tightlipped

The Nepal Communist Party-Maoist led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal has in a strong worded message threatened India to stop acts of terrorizing Nepali population living along the Nepal-India border and lawfully return the Nepali lands forcefully seized by the India’s Border Security forces.

The Maoists statement came, with the media in Nepal, revealed on Tuesday June 2, 2009, that the India security forces had forcefully whipped off Nepali citizens from their own territory in the bordering areas of Dang District.

“The Maoists party strongly asks the Indian side to return the occupied Nepali lands and stop the blatant attack on Nepali citizens by the Indian Security Forces and stop interfering in Nepal affairs”, the Maoists statement reads.

The Statement was issued by the Maoists party spokesperson Mr. Dina Nath Sharma.

The Maoists statement also draws the Indian attention towards the occupation of Nepali lands by the Indian side in Kalapani, Susta, Maheshpur and other parts along the border.

Other major political parties of Nepal, the Nepali Congress and UML are yet to utter a word deploring the Indian terror.
