Girija and Oli heading to India

TGW

Octogenarian Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala, who is currently facing one of the stiffest opposition of his entire political career within his own party, concurrently, is confronting various health disorders. Understandable at his age.

Mr. Koirala is currently facing serious opposition in the party for his personal preference to see his illustrious daughter Sujata elevated to the rank of the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of the country.

Loosening grip in both the political and health front, Koirala in search of appropriate treatment for both of the ailments is soon heading South, his preferred destination- New Delhi, where his political mentors also reside.

“Koirala, who is suffering from acute respiratory problem (asphyxia), has begun vomiting blood”, reveal NC leaders who met Koirala today, May 28, 2009.

“He is facing severe respiratory problems for some time now, thus he could not attend the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal”, NC sources further reveal.

Koirala is scheduled to leave for New Delhi Saturday May 30, 2009.

On Saturday, yet another close chum of the Indian establishment is to land in New Delhi fromKathmandu.

Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli –a Maoists’ sharp critique will submit himself to New Delhi medical doctors. Mr. Oli is suffering from Kidney disorder. He had only recently undergone a kidney-transplant in New Delhi.

However, Mr. Oli will also seek blessings from Rahul Gandhi, the heir apparent of the Gandhi family, and meet Defense Minister AK Anthony, Home Minister P. Chidambaram and other influential leaders.

Expectedly, both Koirala and Oli in their meeting with their political mentors will criticize the Maoists.

Analysts remain askance as to how the ailment and political talks with the New Delhi mentors commence? Or is it a fraudulent ailment?

But then yet we at this website wish the early and the speedy recovery of the heroes and builders of new Nepal under PM Mr. Nepal.
